The beach is renowned since the ancient Roman times, from which comes its name. Today it is known for the movida  – the nightlife – on summer weekends. Some of the most famous clubs in the province of Naples often host international music gueststars. From the dancing nights on the rhythm of the most famous dj’s sounds in the world, up to evenings with live music, the Roman Beach has got choices for every taste.
The beach of the Domitio coast, which from Cumae reaches down to Lazio, is formed by a fine white and unique sand in the area. Typical are the sunsets with the islands of Ischia and Procida in the background. At sunset in fact  the beach is crowded with seagulls, that having no cliffs where to lie, they rest on the beach.
